Color Me Cajun (Bubby) was born on April 18, 2005. He is a homozygous black homozygous Tobiano
colt, so he will always throw babies with spots and will always have black,
bay, brown, sooty black, or buckskin babies.
Bubby is a grandson of Color Me Smart (multi million dollar
sire). Bubby’s sire is an NCHA money
earner and has APHA cutting points.
His dam’s pedigree includes Major Bonanza (NCHA money earner), Cajun
Joe Jet, Easy Jet (AQHA Hall of Fame and race money earner), and Top Deck
(AQHA Hall of Fame). Bubby is curious,
brave, and athletic. He loves to run
and is very fast and agile. He enjoys
running in big circles in the pasture, makes fast turns around trees, and
also has a lovely slower lope and nice trot.
He hops over jumps on his own, and has a nice sliding stop. He chases the goat down the fence like a
trained working cow horse. His potential
lies in cutting, reining, working cow, and even speed events. Bubby’s pedigree includes other such greats
as Smart Little Lena, Doc O’ Lena, Doc’s Solano, Doc
Doll, Uvalde Doll, and Rebel Cause. He
even goes back to Man O’ War! We
expect great things from this colt.

This gorgeous colt has it all – conformation, flash,
ability, and cow. Color Me Cajun has
had 10 months of professional cutting training with Jeff Sleeman. He has beautiful stops and turnarounds, and
already tracks a cow without his rider’s leg or rein. This one is smart, confident, and loves to
work. He is also muscled and fit.
