Whizzin on the Spot

2008 Buckskin Tobiano Stallion

Who Whiz It by Topsail Whiz x LS Poco Dot Spot by Mark This Spot

His pedigree says it all.  His sire, Who Whiz It (deceased) is a USET Gold Medalist and 2001 NRHA Open Futurity Finalist.  His grandsire, Topsail Whiz, is an NRHA Million Dollar sire, and his granddam, Blonde At The Bar is an NRHA World Champion and Open Futurity and Derby Finalist.  Mark This Spot is another NRHA futurity finalist and APHA world champion in reining and bridleless western pleasure.

In addition to his pedigree, Whiz is a stunningly gorgeous horse; he boasts a beautiful buckskin color, striking black points, incredible conformation, and well-developed muscles.  He is friendly, curious, and calm.

Whiz has been in reining training with Dell Hendricks since January 2010.  Dell thinks that with his temperament and willingness to learn, he would make a great non-pro horse.    Whiz started his show career in 2011 at the San Angelo Slide, the SWRHA Futurity and the NRHA Futurity.  He’s gotten better and better at each show and continues to improve.

If you are looking for a gorgeous horse, with a wonderful temperament, and with solid training and a promising start to his show career, Whiz could be just the horse for you!

Whiz is nominated for the NRBC, Futurity, and Derby.

Cub - sliding stop.jpg

QTS Cajun Cub

2007 Palomino Tobiano Stallion

QTS Crystal Bear by Q T Poco Streke x Cajun Breezing Miss by Cajun Eclipse

Meet Cub, a gorgeous, blue-eyed palomino 2007 stud colt.  He is by QTS Crystal Bear, an own son of QT Poco Streke, and out of Cajun Breezing Miss.  His dam’s pedigree includes Cajun Joe Jet, Easy Jet, Major Bonanza, and Top Deck.  QTS Crystal Bear is a multiple NRHA Champion and Reserve World Champion, and APHA champion.  He was 2007 NRHA high point horse of the year in ranch horse competition.  Cub is already showing a great deal of promise for future competition.  He has had two years of training with Robbie Boyce in Jacksboro, TX.  His focus has been reining, and he has proven to be easy to train and a big stopper.  He has also had exposure to cow work, and could be a reined cowhorse or ranch horse.  He also excels at roping – he loves to chase a cow down then stop hard.  He is beautiful to watch, and is one of the prettiest horses we have ever seen.  In addition to his athleticism and beauty, he is very calm, sweet, and friendly.  With his palomino color, pedigree, calm nature, and show ring potential, Cub will also make a wonderful stud prospect.

Cub had his first show in 2011 at the APHA World Show where he earned a Top Ten placing in Junior Steer Stopping.  We plan to continue this stallion’s training, with an emphasis on roping since he seems to really love it.

Cub is APHA Breeders Trust enrolled.

This stallion is currently for sale.  He would make an excellent all-around Western performance show horse.  See our Sale page.

Color Me Cajun

2005 Black Tobiano Gelding

LS Smart N Hot by Color Me Smart x Cajun Breezing Miss by Cajun Eclipse

Color Me Cajun (Bubby) was born on April 18, 2005.  Bubby is a grandson of Color Me Smart (multi million dollar sire).  Bubby’s sire is an NCHA money earner and has APHA cutting points.  His dam’s pedigree includes Major Bonanza (NCHA money earner), Cajun Joe Jet, Easy Jet (AQHA Hall of Fame and race money earner), and Top Deck (AQHA Hall of Fame).  Bubby’s pedigree includes other such greats as Smart Little Lena, Doc O’ Lena, Doc’s Solano, Doc Doll, Uvalde Doll, and Rebel Cause.  He even goes back to Man O’ War!

This gorgeous horse has it all – conformation, flash, ability, and cow.  Color Me Cajun has had 20 months of professional cutting training, the last 8 with Ascencion Banuelos.  He then had 8 more months of working cowhorse and roping training with Robbie Boyce.  He’s very cowey, a big stopper, and loves to work.  He’s very fun to ride, and could go in any number of directions.  He is smart, confident, and could compete in APHA roping events, jackpot roping (he’s a great heel horse), amateur cutting, or penning and sorting.  You could even take him out on the trail!  Color Me Cajun is currently in Texas with Robbie Boyce to hone his roping skills.

Color Me Cajun is currently for sale.  See our Sale page.
