With his unique coat color, Peptos Smart Cookie looks incredible going down the fence! And his talent going down the fence has earned him an impressive show record. This 2014 bay overo stallion shows athleticism, big stops, and control over the cow. Cookie Monster has a good work ethic and a willing attitude, and likes people. He is by Cookin Merada (Meradas Money Talks) and out of Uvaldes Cow Smart (Peptosmart by Peptoboonsmal).
Cookie Monster is trained and shown by Shane Steffen, and they make an amazing team. Cookie Monster continued showing through 2021, his 7 year old year. We offered frozen semen in 2021, and in 2022, Cookie Monster's first foal crop was born. He passed on his color with two white foals! His next foal crop is coming in spring 2023, including to our two mares, Sacred Mountainbreeze and Star in the Spotlight.
As for that coat color? Cookie Monster tested NN for Tobiano, Splash 1/2/3, Frame, and Sabino. He has tested as having a newly discovered white gene, Merada White! We can't wait to see how hic future foals are patterned!

Cookie Monster is standing to the public in 2024. The breeding fee is $1250 plus collection and shipping. Contact us for a contract for cooled on site or shipped semen. We also have limited amounts of frozen semen available.
He is NN for HERDA, Frame, PSSM1, HYPP, and MH, and GBED/N. Be sure your mare is tested for the recessive GBED gene (a foal needs two copies to be impacted). Cookie Monster also has one MY gene, but has never shown any impact or IMM symptoms. Be sure your mare is tested for this.
