Horses Offered for Sale

Finally Farm Paints has APHA reining, roping and reined cow horse prospects for sale.  All horses bred by Finally Farm Paints have champions or NRHA, NRCHA, or NCHA money earners in their pedigrees.  In addition, they all have complete disease panel and color panel results available.

The way we raise our babies is what sets us apart from other programs.  We work with our foals from the time they are born to the time they leave for their new homes.  You can expect a horse that is, of course, trained to lead, tie, stand for the farrier, get brushed, blanket, load, give to pressure, and back nicely.  They are introduced to dogs, cats, poultry, tractors, tarps, flags, and even garbage trucks.  In their yearling year, they are trained to go through our outdoor trail course in-hand, and walk over tarps, through streamers and plastic bottles, over bridges and logs.  They are also lightly lunged, and taught to walk, trot, and canter in both directions at voice command.  They are also introduced to a saddle before turning two.  Through all of this, they are taught respect; they cannot be pushy, nippy, or rude.  They develop a willing attitude, and the end result is a friendly horse that wants to be your partner.  These are horses that are bred for Open competition, and have the disposition to work with an amateur or non-pro.

We occasionally have older horses for sale.  If you see a horse on our website that interests you, please ask.

Docs Diamond Wrangler

This 2018 APHA colt is by NRBC Champion Starlights Wrangler (NRHA million dollar sire).  His dam is Lenas Diamond Bonanza, who is out of a World Champion producing mare and is a granddaughter of Doc O Lena.  Jedi is bred for reining, but since he has cowhorses on the top and bottom of his pedigree, he will also do well in the NRCHA.  He is NRHA Futurity and Derby and NRBC nominated.

Jedi is a very flashy colt - three white socks, a big white blaze, belly spots, roaning, and flaxen in his tail.  He is a big boy with lots of muscle, and should reach 15hh.  He's a great mover, and plays with his donkey friend by running him down the fence and circling him up.  Jedi has a very friendly, curious and playful disposition.  He is willing to try whatever is asked of him.  Even though certain parts of our trail course worried him at first, he worked through each obstacle because he wanted to please.  He is going to make someone a wonderful partner.

We are asking $7500 for this colt.  Partial transport could be arranged, and we may be able to do payments with good references.  If you would like more information about Jedi, give us a call.

Champion bloodlines foal in utero

This foal is sired by 2X APHA World Champion QTs Cajun Cub.  The dam, Uvaldes Cow Smart, is the mother of a 3X APHA World Champion, NRCHA Open Hackamore Champion, and NRCHA/NRHA money earner.  This foal will be an amazing cowhorse prospect.  It is due in May 2020 and will be weaned in November 2020.  It has 75% chance of being Tobiano, and a 50% chance of carrying Splash 1.  It has a 75% chance of being cream.  It will be 6 panel NN by parentage.  The full brother of this foal is a gorgeous sooty buckskin who is currently in cowhorse training with Shane Steffen.
