Horses Offered for Sale

Finally Farm Paints has APHA reining, roping and reined cow horse prospects for sale.  All horses bred by Finally Farm Paints have champions or NRHA, NRCHA, or NCHA money earners in the first generation of their pedigrees.  In addition, they all have complete disease panel and color panel results available.

The way we raise our babies is what sets us apart from other programs.  We work with our foals from the time they are born to the time they leave for their new homes.  You can expect a horse that is, of course, trained to lead, tie, stand for the farrier, get brushed, blanket, load, give to pressure, and back nicely.  They are introduced to dogs, cats, poultry, tractors, tarps, flags, and even garbage trucks.  In their yearling year, they are trained to go through our outdoor trail course in-hand, and walk over tarps, through streamers and plastic bottles, over bridges and logs.  They are also lightly lunged, and taught to walk, trot, and canter in both directions at voice command.  They are also introduced to a saddle before turning two.  Through all of this, they are taught respect; they cannot be pushy, nippy, or rude.  They develop a willing attitude, and the end result is a friendly horse that wants to be your partner.  These are horses that are bred for Open competition, and have the disposition to work with an amateur or non-pro.

We occasionally have older horses for sale.  If you see a horse on our website that interests you, please ask.

QTs Blue Bayou - Homozygous Tobiano and Championship Cow Horse Pedigree

We sure hit the jackpot with Oliver!  QTs Blue Bayou is a beautifully marked sorrel homozygous tobiano stud colt. He is a blend of the best features of his 2x World Champion sire QTs Cajun Cub, and his royally bred dam Dual Delta Blue.  Oliver is a big colt with lots of muscles and a stocky build.  He is very smart and athletic, already showing a tendency to try to circle up and herd Peppy the donkey.  He also loves to run, and will charge down a pasture fence, turn and run the other direction. His pedigree is full of champions and champion producers.  You can see his sire's show record on his sire's page.  Oliver's dam, bred by the famed 6J Paints, is out of an APHA Res. World Champion cutting mare, and she also has Delta Flyer and Peptoboonsmal on her papers.  Oliver is 6 panel NN by parentage.  He will make a great stallion prospect after his show career.  Oliver has a great disposition and is a respectful, well-behaved colt; he leads, ties, bathes, stands to be groomed and for the farrier, blankets, backs, gives to pressure, has been exposed to obstacles in our trail course, and is learning to lunge.  He learns quickly, and takes correction well when needed.  Oliver is an open caliber NRCHA/APHA prospect, and will do best in a home with an experienced cow horse person or professional trainer who will keep his mind busy on his work.  Oliver is for sale to a show home for $7500.

Sacred Pepto Cat - Stunning Filly with
Champion and Champion Producing Pedigree

Siena is so sweet, very flashy, and very athletic.  With strong cow horse and all-around lines, she will excel in cow horse and/or ranch horse, or be your APHA all-around show partner.  She loves people, and has an eager, willing attitude and an in-your-pocket disposition. She leads, ties, backs, gives to pressure, gets brushed, stands for the farrier, blankets, has been taken through our trail course, and has started to lunge.  She is playful and curious, and very fancy!
Siena's sire, Zezes Pepto Cat (by Zeze Gunsmoke out of Boons Cat by Peptoboonsmal) has earned over $97,000. He was NRCHA Derby Open Hackamore Champion, AQHA World Show Finalist, NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Ltd. Open Res. CH, APHA World CH Sr. Working Cow Horse, APHA Challenge Champion, NRCHA Open Derby Finalist, and more.  He has sired NRCHA money earners, and APHA Challenge, World and Reserve World Champions.
Siena's dam, Sacred Mountainbreeze, is the last daugter of the great Sacred Indian, multiple APHA World Champion and World Champion producer, and Hall of Fame member.  Siena's maternal grand dam, Cajun Breezing Miss, herself is a multiple World Champion producer, so there are World Champion producers all over Siena's pedigree!

Siena is priced at $7000 to a show home.

Findlay - Striking White Colt with a Pedigree Full of Champions

Findlay is a Scottish name that means White Warrior.  Findlay has a friendly, goofy disposition!  He is so well-behaved and wants to please.  He knows how to lead, tie, stand for the farrier, and wear a sheet and fly mask.  But the coolest thing about Findlay is his white coat!  He is almost all white; he inherited his sire's W-31 dominant white gene.  He's got one blue eye, a marking on his forhead, and an ear that looks like it was dipped in chocolate.  Both ears have pigment inside, so he is not deaf.  Genetic tests are pending to see if Findlay has any other white genets.

Findlay's sire is Peptos Smart Cookie.  Peptos Smart Cookie retired as one of the top Open Bridle horses in the country.  He is APHA World Champion Senior Working Cow Horse, 2X APHA World Champion Junior Working Cow Horse, APHA World Champion Ranch Cutting, APHA World Show 4/5 YO Working Cow Horse Sweepstakes Champion, NRCHA Open Hackamore Champion, NRCHA Reserve World Champion Open Bridle 4th Place,  NRCHA Celebration of Champions Open Bridle, NRCHA Open Derby Finalist, NRCHA Open Derby Fence Work Prelims High Score (223 tie), Intermediate Open Bridle High Score (tie) NRCHA Futurity, Open Bridle Finalist NRCHA Futurity, NWRCHA Summer Showdown Open Reserve Champion, 5th Place NRCHA Celebration of Champions Intermediate Open Hackamore, 7th Place Open Two-Rein NRCHA Futurity, High Point Open Bridle Horse - Gem State Reined Cow Horse Assoc., NRCHA earnings - $34,000+.  He is stamping his foals with his good looks and good nature.  If you are interested in owning a Cookie Monster foal, this may be your only chance.

Findlay's dam, Sacred Mountainbreeze, is the last daugter of the great Sacred Indian, multiple APHA World Champion and World Champion producer, and Hall of Fame member.  Findlay's maternal grand dam, Cajun Breezing Miss, herself is a multiple World Champion producer, so there are World Champion producers all over Findlay's pedigree!

It looks like Findlay is going to be a big, tall boy.  His sire is cowey and athletic and his dam has great champion bloodlines, so with his pedigree, Findlay could make a great rope horse, cow horse, ranch horse competitor, and all-around APHA show horse.  His grandsire roped, raced and jumped, so with his long legs and size, Findlay could even become a jumper.  Whatever he ends up competing in, he will look stunning doing it!  Findlay is for sale for $8000.
